Tarus D. Stills is a tech founder, author, and speaker working at the intersection of technology, storytelling, entertainment, and education. Throughout his career, he has built and led digital products across streaming, sports technology, interactive media, and education—including work with Allen Media Group, where he helped build HBCU GO and Sports.TV, as well as Genius Sports, Amira Learning, Cartoon Network, and other leading media and technology brands.
As a founder, Tarus has taken products from zero to one, combining product strategy, creative vision, technology, and go-to-market execution to turn ideas into working businesses and platforms. He is the founder of Cutclass.io, a platform designed to help film schools and emerging storytellers give student work a life beyond the classroom through professional portfolios, digital premieres, curated showcases, and connections to industry opportunities.
Tarus is also the creator and author of Caiden’s Courage, an original children’s story world spanning publishing, interactive learning, games, and digital experiences. His work explores how technology and storytelling can combine to create experiences that entertain, build confidence, and inspire young people to think differently about their potential.
As a speaker, Tarus shares his perspective on entrepreneurship, product innovation, creative technology, storytelling, and building ideas from concept to market. He has spoken at events including the Compton College Film Festival, drawing from his experience across filmmaking, technology, product development, and entrepreneurship.
At the center of his work is a simple idea: technology can build the system, storytelling can give it meaning, and entrepreneurship can bring both into the world.
